Michael Stevenson Camden Sr.

Michael S. Camden Sr., 66, of Salem, Va., passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020. Michael was a professional plasterer for over 30 years. He loved to tinker with things; not only could he fix about anything, but he could also teach others how to fix things. He enjoyed working in the yard, and also enjoyed shopping at Goodwill. Walking, talking, and listening were some of his favorite pastimes, and he certainly enjoyed his dogs company, too. Not a day went by that Michael didnt enjoy a banana and bottle of water. Preceding him in death were his parents, Dave and Elsie Camden; son, Michael Camden Jr.; several siblings; and son-in-law, Jeff Stump. His surviving family includes his wife, Carolyn Camden; children, Melissa Stump and Matthew Camden and wife, Amanda; daughter-in-law, Cathy Camden; grandchildren, Cheyanne Camden, Dylan Stump, Christian Camden, Allyson Camden, and Brittany McClamma; great-granddaughter, Kenzie Lee; siblings, Lula Deel and John Camden; and many other special family members.
