Michael Joseph Butler, 62 went home, Sunday, April 30, 2023. Born Tuesday, May 2, 1960, to William Powers Butler and Dorothy Theriault Butler. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Emery Butler; sister Eileen Butler; daughter, Lily Jacqueline Butler; and niece Rebecca Butler. Left to cherish his memory; wife, Deborah Butler; sons, Colin Butler, Thomas Butler, and Steven Butler; siblings, William Butler, Patrick Butler, Bridget Butler, Sheila Butler, Marie Butler Browne, and John Butler; lifelong friends Guy Hodges and George Andy Taylor. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11 am at Ridgewood Baptist Church, in Roanoke. Pastor Roy E. Kanode will officiate.
