Mary Lou Whitt

Mary Lou Whitt, 73, of Dry Hollow Community, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2016. Mary was born in Pennsylvania, but was an area resident for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Calvin Wayne Whitt, who passed away in 2014. Mary was a long-time member of the Walbun Revival Center. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going on long car rides. Prior to retiring, Mary was a CNA with Richfield Nursing Home. She is survived by her children, Charles Whitt and wife, Mary, Danny Whitt, Theresa Whitt, and Tammy Whitt; as well as seven grandchildren. A period of visitation will be at noon on Monday, June 6, 2016, at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home with a service to follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Andrew Draughn officiating.
