Mary Miller Sizemore

Mary Miller Sizemore, 88, of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. She was born on January 30, 1927 in Roderfield, WV to the late William D and Lena H. Miller. She attended Lakeside Baptist Church in Salem; was a dedicated and active member of the G.E. Retiree Association; and she thoroughly loved working at the Clothes Closet and Food Bank. Mary had a kind and generous heart for others, and enjoyed doing anything for Charity. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard I. Sizemore; brother, William D. Miller, Jr.; sisters, Margaret M. Moore and Jean M. Weyd; and special friend, Tom Gabris. Family remaining to cherish her memory includes her brother, James R. Miller; sister, Betty M. Blankenship; several nieces and nephews; and her special feline friend, Snowy. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, at 11 a.m., in Roanoke.
