Mary Lera O'Bryan

Mary Motley OBryan, age 96, of Salem, Va. passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born on Thursday, November 23, 1922, to the late Robert L. Motley and Mary O. Motley. Mary was a long-time employee of Roanoke Orthopedic Co. She was a member of Southern United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest S. OBryan; brothers, Aubrey, Marshall, and Robert Motley. She is survived by her daughters, Shelby J. Thomason, Linda Rogers and husband, Charles; grandson, Lee Bryan Thomason; granddaughters, Tracy White and husband, Keith and Jennifer Drawdy and husband, Clint; great-grandsons, Mason Yost, Sennett Drawdy, and Price Drawdy; great-granddaughters, Sidney Yost, Mae Drawdy, Shelby Drawdy, and Amalia Bulala Thomason; and a special family friend, Cheryl A. Harris. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, Va. with Rev. Warren Carswell officiating.
