Mary Wray Litton, 94, of Rocky Mount, VA and formerly of Salem, VA passed away Friday, November 04, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother - always with a smile on her face. She was born February 17, 1917 in Cambria, VA daughter of the late John D. and Mary Franklin Webber. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel H. Litton; and three brothers, J. Reginald Webber, Curtis F. Webber and G. Barker Webber. Mrs. Litton retired from Stuart McGuire, formerly worked at the Webber Pharmacy on Main Street in Salem, was a member of PBX Club for years and was a life long member of First United Methodist Church in Salem. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Sam M. and Joan H. Litton; grandsons, Sean M. Litton and Jason R. Litton both of Charleston, SC; nephews, John Webber, Kurt Webber, Greg Wroniewicz and Julius Lucky Wroniewicz; and special friend, Sue Spiegel. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Monday, November 7, 2011 at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Rev. Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow at East Hill Cemetery, Salem. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family extends special thanks to Sally Martin and Harvela Wilkerson for the exceptional care given to our mother over the past four years she lived at Faith Home in Rocky Mount. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Littons name to a hospice organization of choice. 540-389-5441
