Edith Saul Hurt, 88, of Roswell, GA, and formerly of Salem, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014.
She was born in Salem on February 19, 1926, a daughter of the late Charles Thomas Saul and Bessie Broce Jones Saul and relocated to Roswell over 16 years ago following the passing of her husband, Lewis Buddy Carr Hurt. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and cooking. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ceph Sitton; five brothers, Windul, Curtis, Paul, Henry and David Saul, and by three sisters, Lonnie Stump, Nellie Butler and Lillie Saul.
A devoted wife, mother and Meemaw, she is survived by a son, James E. Bohon and his wife Renee; daughter, Elaine Bohon Sitton; two sisters, Exie Saul and Hazel Patterson; a brother, Bobbie Saul; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
