Mary Magdeline Cole

Mary Magdeline Cole, 90, of Salem and formerly of Brammell, W.Va., passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017. She loved flowers and music. Preceding her in death were her parents, John Clarence Gray and Susie M. Bates; son, Michael David Cole; brothers, Mack and Robert Gray; sister, Dorthy Gray; and nephew, John Kozar. Her surviving family includes her husband of 70 years, James W. Cole; daughter, Aleta C. Moore; sister, Ruth Kozar; granddaughter, Angela C. Young and husband, Matt; great-grandson, Arthur Cole Young; and special family members, Manfred Peters, his wife, Tonia, and their son, Mason. The family extends sincere thanks to both Good Samaritan Hospice as well as Salem Health & Rehab for their loving care. A period of visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem followed by a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
