Mary Lou Grant Chisom, 72, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 11, 2020, at her home. She was born on April 6, 1948, in Roanoke, Va., daughter of the late Billy and Mary Walker Grant. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Tommy Chisom; sons, Todd and Brian (Janet) Chisom; sisters, Lois Ann (Jimmy) Bryant, Jane McGuire, and Wanda (Eugene) Cash. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 1 p.m., at John M. Oakey & Son funeral home in Salem, with Pastor Steve Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
