Mary Caldwell Mary Caldwell, 79, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012. She was born in Perrott, WV, a daughter of the late John D. and Louvenia Stephens and had been an area resident for over fifty years. She was a professional seamstress and retired from Oak Hall Cap & Gown. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ernest Lee Caldwell; a son, Roger Caldwell; four daughters, Patricia Gorig, Brenda Pritt and her husband Elmer, Lois Rose, Connie Majkowski and her husband Mike; a brother, J.D.Stephens, Jr; her sister, Gracie Stephens, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Friday, March, 23, 2012 in the Chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. Burial will follow at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
