Martha Ann Adams

Martha Ann Adams, 83, of Salem and formerly of New Castle, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Her surviving family includes her husband of 54 years, Aubrey Adams; daughters, Texanna Adams and Ruth Adams and fianc, Kevin Smith; grandchildren, Shane Pendleton and Michelle Pendleton and fianc, Lyle Wade; great-grandchildren, Sierra Pendleton and Sydney Wade; beloved friend, Sharon Reynolds; sister, Phyllis Russell; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dogs, Sophie, Arlo, Sasha, Lexi, and Raider. The family extends a special thanks to the Salem Rescue Squad as well as Lewis-Gale Medical Centers emergency department staff for their loving care. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem with the Rev. Ivey Adams officiating.
