Mark Ward Faville Jr.

Ward Faville, 72, of Salem, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015. He will be forever loved and cherished by his wife, Beverly Faville; step-children, Ryan (Mandy), Paul (Kelly), and Andy; seven grandchildren; cousin, Lin Outten; and lifelong friends, Bill and Judy Baker. Ward competed in SCCA Racing for 15 years. He retired from VDOT after many years of dedicated service. He deeply cared for animals and nature, and enjoyed going fishing and going to the beach and mountains. His love of hiking often took him to the beautiful waterfalls he loved so much. He was also quite the talker, and loved to tell stories which were often enhanced by his creativity. Ward loved Virginia Tech football- a special thanks to Carolyn who allowed us to go to the games. Ward was a wonderful cook, and enjoyed doing so. He also loved his moonpies. Above all, he loved and adored his wife and treasured his friends.
