Marion David 'Dave' Toney

Marion David (Dave) Toney, 75, of Salem, VA passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017. He was born December 22, 1941 in Dothan, WV a son of the late Alva F. and Virginia Canterbery Toney. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Allen Toney; and brothers, William F. Toney and Jesse Toney. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet N. Toney; brothers, Sherman Toney and wife, Peggy, Gene Toney, Alva Toney and wife, Martha and Ralph A. Toney; sister, Mary Katherine Wriston and husband, Terry; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Rev. Gary Kingery and Rev. Bruce Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
