Marian Hallock Agee

Marian H. Agee, age 91, of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 11, 2015. She was born in New Jersey to Dr. Harold and Mabel Hallock. She lived in several states before graduating from the University of Idaho. She received a M.A. in Christian Education from Scarritt College in Tennessee. She worked as a Wesley Foundation Director at Longwood College, a Bible teacher for the Waynesboro schools and a Director of Christian Education at Reveille UMC in Richmond. In addition, she was a devoted wife and mother. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Earl T. Agee. She is survived by her daughter, Luci A. Wright and husband, Bruce of Roanoke as well as a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Loreen and Bob Johnson of Richmond. Marian enjoyed her many friends and family and especially delighted in the many trips across the country that she was able to experience with Earl. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR, P.O. Box 9068, New York, NY 10087).
