Lisa Carol Bott, 58 of Salem, went home to with the Lord and was reunited with her daughter and other loved ones on Sunday, November 14, 2021, from Richfield Blue Ridge Cottage, in Salem. She was born on September 5, 1963, in Roanoke, Va., daughter of the late John Wayne and Lillian Fisher Bott. Lisa was a graduate of Glenvar High School. As someone who loved nature and outdoors, it is to no surprise for her enjoyment of nature walks, gardening, and working with roses and other flowers. She certainly wasnt concerned about getting a little dirt under her fingernails or on her feet, as she would often go barefoot and loved it! She was a very selfless person and was always fun to be around. Her early years was mostly spent with her maternal grandparents and spending time with friends at Wayside. Lisa also enjoyed to tan from time to time, but she will be remembered most for her love of family and particularly her grandchildren. They were certainly the apple of her eye. In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her daughter, Chasity Hope Bott. Family remaining to cherish her memory includes her son, Adam Clark (Micaela), of Salem; sisters, Sharon Welcher, of Salem and Tammy Mills (Andy), of Elliston; brother, Danny Bott (Amy) of Salem; grandchildren, Tre, John Marcus, Lacy, Faith, and Serenity; special friend and love, Barry Clark; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services to honor Lisas life will be conducted on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son funeral home in Salem. Chaplain Gary Kingery will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bott Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service, on Thursday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be sent to Adam Clark via John M. Oakey & Son, to assist with funeral expenses.
