Linwood Dennis Epperly

Linwood Dennis (Bussy) Epperly, 84, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 8, 2023. Born on August 11, 1938, in Montgomery County, Virginia, to the late Dennis Ervin and Mae Bell Epperly, he is also preceded in death by his son, David Allen Epperly, and his sisters, Mary Sheppard and Alma DeHart. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Doris DeHart Epperly; son, Dennis (Debbie) Epperly; grandchildren, Sara (Evan) Noell and Sidney Epperly; great-grandchildren, Audrey and Jack; siblings, Jody (Bobby) LaPrad, J.C. (Trudy) Epperly, Luin (Betty) Epperly, Glenna Hall, Ervin Epperly, and Mickey (Pam) Epperly, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m.; Pastor Ken Nienke will officiate.
