Linda Simmons

Linda Meacham Simmons, age 56, of Salem, Va. went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. She was born on Tuesday, June 5, 1962 to Goldie Palmer Meacham and the late James Edward Meacham. Linda was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and loving wife to Nathan Lloyd Simmons. Linda was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Salem; and was a servant to the Lord and, is a faithful child of God. In addition to her husband, and mother, Linda is survived by her children, Jordan Blake Simmons, and Natasha Erin Simmons Boyd and husband, Kurt; grandchildren, Lincoln William Boyd, Gavin Thomas Boyd, and Miles Alexander Boyd; brothers, Jeff Meacham, and Greg Meacham; sister, Rhonda Hall. A funeral service to celebrate Lindas life will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church 1601 S. Colorado St. Salem, Va. with Pastor Hilton Jeffreys officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 2 4 p.m. at the church on Sunday.
