Linda Reedy Richardson

Linda Reedy Richardson, of Salem, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2016. She was born in Salem on Wednesday, September 27, 1950. Linda worked for GE in Salem for 27 years. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Salem. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Davis; and her brother, Jackie Davis. Linda is survived by her faithful and loving husband of 38 years, Larry Richardson; mother, Lucille Davis; sisters, Carol Parker and Brenda Goens; daughter, Angie Reedy; son, Steven Reedy; grandchildren, Brandy, Bailee, and Bentley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church at 125 West Main Street in Salem, Va. 24153 or to the Fort Lewis Rescue Squad at 3915 West Main Street in Salem, Va. 24153.
