Linda Sue Hypes

Linda Sue Hypes, 64, of Salem, VA passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012. She was born December 4, 1947 in Roanoke, VA daughter of the late Aina Guy and Virginia Cleo Grubb Hypes. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Jean Hypes; and a brother, Billy Lee Hypes. Miss Hypes is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Gay Hypes Wilburn and Margaret Arlene Hypes Worrell and husband, Ray; brother, Bobby Lewis Hypes; niece, Ronna Worrell; nephew, Guy Wilburn; great-niece, Bailey Wilburn; and great-nephew, Morgan Wilburn. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 4 to 7 pm at John M. Oakey and Son, Salem. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Grubb Cemetery, Salem with Rev. Brian Gordon officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Miss Hypes name to a charity of choice.
