Linda Butterworth Harrell

Linda B. Harrell, 63, of Salem, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017. She was a loving wife to her husband, mother to her children, and caretaker to everyone she knew. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lila and Bob Butterworth; and brothers, Ronnie and Roger Butterworth. Her surviving family includes her husband of 46 years, James W. Harrell; children, Tracy Strickland and husband, James, and Amy Lee Harrell and significant other, Kenny Fox; grandchildren, Morgan Hawkins and Liam Harrell; brother, Randy (George) Butterworth; aunt, Nellie Overstreet; sister-in-law, Sue Holt; brother-in-law, Ron Harrell and wife, Donna; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017, in the funeral homes chapel. Entombment will immediately follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
