Linda Lee Aliff, 78, of Salem, Va, went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 21, 2025, leaving behind a life rich with love, tradition, and joyful memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Born Saturday, June 28, 1947, in Pulaski County to the late Pierce and Sophie Reynolds.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, David Lee Aliff; siblings, Dottie Nemi, Jimmy Moore, and Peggy Viers; special friend Debbie Bandy.

She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures and had a special love for shopping trips, especially her favorite place, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Those trips brought her great joy and were always something she looked forward to. At home, she took pride in canning green beans and tomatoes. Linda was always polished and put together; her nails and toes were never without color, a small detail that perfectly reflected her spirited personality and love for feeling her best. She had a heart that delighted in beauty, warmth, and celebrations.

Christmas was her most treasured season, when her home and heart were full, surrounded by the laughter and love of her family. Summers were equally dear to her, spent relaxing by her pool, her favorite place to soak in sunshine, peace, and time with those she loved.

A woman of faith, she was a lifelong member of Covenant Community Church, where she found strength, fellowship, and a sense of purpose. She also faithfully served her community through her work with Patron Services at the Salem Civic Center, where she greeted many with kindness and a welcoming smile.

Above all else, she loved her family deeply. Her life was a beautiful example of devotion, service, and joy; her legacy lives on in the countless memories she created and the love she freely gave.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Johnny Aliff; her children, Carolyn Elting and her husband, Timmy; siblings, Pat Conner, and her husband, Sonny; grandchildren, Craig Dowdy and his wife, Kim, and D.J. Aliff; great-grandchild, Ashlynn Aliff, as well as Scott Hudson and her favorite luncheon friends.

A funeral service will be held at Covenant Community Church on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Scott Hudson officiating.
