Lillian Mae Spradlin

Lillian Keaton Howard Spradlin 76, of Roanoke, Va., went peacefully to be with the Lord in the early morning of Saturday, May 18, 2019. Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Ruby Keaton; brothers, Junior, Leroy, Russell, and Roger; sister, Rosie; two sons, Marvin and Lewis; as well as her two husbands, Marvin and Jasper. She is survived by her brother, Doug; sister, Brenda; six sons and one daughter; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 pm in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home and Crematory, 305 Roanoke Blvd Salem, Va., 24153. A chapel funeral service will also be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Don Brown will be officiating. Burial will take place at Evergreen Burial Park immediately following the service. The family would like to give a special thank you to Carilion Hospice, as well as her caregiver Melissa Taylor.
