A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, Virginia, with Hilton Jefferies officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park located in Roanoke, VA.
