Lewis Steve Trail I

Lewis Steve Trail, I, of Elliston, VA passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016. He was born in Roanoke County on June 23, 1948 a son of the late William R. and Lillian Underwood Trail. He was also preceded in death by two siblings, Freda Gibson and Timmy Trail. He is survived by a daughter, Amy Renee Trail; son, Lewis Steve Trail, II; step-sons, Jeff Anderson and wife, Debra and David Anderson; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Jeff Trail and Danny Trail; sister, Joyce Trail; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Rev. Timothy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice and Rhonda Moreno for their loving care given to Steve.First Visitation
