Leonard Perry Ray, 72, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Len was preceded in death by his parents, James and Louella Ray; brother, Dale and his wife, Judy; and brothers-in-law, Ralph Boothe and Allen Bostic. His surviving family includes his loving wife of 51 years, Diane Paitsel Ray; children, Michele and her husband, Phillip, and Susan King; grandchildren, Sierra and husband, Devon, Brianna, Michael, and Joshua; sisters, Cherie and Pam; brothers, Ronald and his wife, Kristi, and David and his wife, Kathy; many special nieces and nephews; and special friends, Tommy and Renossa Price, Michael and Kay McCoy, and Bonnie Pruitt. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Sherwood Memorial Park. Pastor Roy Kanode and Elder Tommy Price will officiate.
