Leonard George Leask

Leonard George Leask, 98, of Salem, Virginia, passed away at the Virginia Veterans Care Center on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Leonard was born on Wednesday, August 1, 1923, in Aberdeen, Scotland to the late Thomas and Margaret Leask. He was a World War II Veteran of the US Army, and retired from Roanoke County as the Director of Utilities after 20 years. He was a member of the Lions Club and the American Water Works Association. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, May Elaris Hays Leask; and brothers, Thomas and Arthur Leask. His surviving family includes many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Leonards wish was to be cremated and have his ashes interred at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Ackerman, Mississippi. Online condolences may be expressed at www.johnmoakey.com. Service Details.
