Leah Lawrence Kendrick

Leah Ann Lawrence Kendrick, 70, of Salem, Virginia, but formerly of Bedford County, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Born October 17, 1955, to the Late Gordon Robert and Genorah Altice Lawrence, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Kendrick, Sr.; granddaughter, Rayna Kendrick; as well as her brother, Larry Lawrence.

Leah loved her Lord and Savior and served faithfully as a member of Living Well Church of the Nazarene in Salem. She loved helping and meeting the needs of others and would give even if she only had a little to do so. She enjoyed making diamond paintings, but more enjoyed gifting them to friends and family. Leah loved God's Word and spent much time reading her devotions. Above all, she adored her family and spending time with them. Leah is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her sons, Charles M. Kendrick, Jr. and his wife, Sara and Robert G. Kendrick; grandchildren, Travis Kendrick, Kaylee Kendrick, Tyler Kendrick, Lilly Kendrick and Emma Kendrick.

The family will welcome friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Living Well Church of the Nazarene, Salem. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Parker officiating.
