Larry Dale Early

Larry Dale Early, 63, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Roscoe and Lilliam Early and Beril and Janette Dallas; parents, Stanley and Helen Early; brothers, Steve and Gary Early; aunt, Phyllis Early; and uncle, Wayne Dallas. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kristy Minnix and husband, Nathan; siblings, Ricky Early and wife, Joyce, and Peggy Anderson; grandchildren, Kayla, Jennah, Oliva, Julia, and Nate; and numerous nieces and nephews. A period of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 7th, 2016 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery located at 5550 Bragging Plant Road, Dublin, Va., 24084. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home's chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made towards funeral expenses directed to 2519 Morgan Mill Road, Goodview, Va., 24095, or The Salvation Army.
