L. Dennis 'Levi' Garrett

L. Dennis Garrett (Levi), 65, of Elliston, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017. He was born in Lebanon, VA, a son of the late Calvin Hoover Garrett and Betty Long Garrett. He was employed for many years as a Lumber Grader with Salem Frame. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Michael Garrett, and his in-laws, John and Louise Counts. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Robin C. Garrett; two sons, B. Travis Garrett and Kyle P. Garrett; two brothers-in-law, Roger L. Counts, and John S. Counts, Jr. and his wife Lendy; two other sisters-in-law, Debra E. Garrett and Nancy C. Johns, as well as uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. A service celebrating Dennis life will be held at 1PM, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Hall United Methodist Church 4302 North Fork Rd. Elliston, VA. Rev. Brenda Sternfeld will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
