Kyle Dean Morrison

Kyle Dean Morrison, 64, of Wilmington, N.C., died Sunday, January 21, 2024, at his home. He was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, on September 17, 1959, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard G. Morrison. Surviving in addition to his parents are two children, Cory D. Morrison (Kaylan) of Leland, N.C. and Rebecca L. Morrison of Wilmington/Raleigh, N.C.; one brother, Jack E. Morrison (Christine) of Cape Coral, Fla.; two sisters, Ronda M. Ross (Jim) of Wilmington, N.C. and Rachelle M. Angwin (Michael) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; nieces and nephews, Taylor Ogrinc (Brian) (Fla.), Brian E. Morrison (Wis.), Stephen R. Ross and Matthew J. Ross (Wilmington, N.C.), Mackenzie M. Angwin (S.C.) and James M. Angwin (S.C.); and former wife and close friend, Sandra L. Morrison. Kyle was an Army Veteran having served in the 82nd Airborne. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024, at Wrightsville United Methodist Church in Wrightsville Beach. A private graveside for family will be held in Salem, Va.
