Kyle Todd Bryant, 19, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. He was a member of Church Alive in Roanoke. He enjoyed playing football and baseball as a youth and later played soccer. He was a 2012 graduate of Northside High School. He was also a part of the Boy Scouts of America, and many feel this service led to his recent enlistment with the United States Navy. His hobbies included mudding, camping, and skateboarding, and he adored his pets, Dallas and Dixie. He was preceded in death by grandmothers, Sharon Saunders and Verna Whited; grandfathers, Jeffrey Eaton and Ted Dracos; and uncle, Steven Hall. His surviving family includes his father and stepmother, Howard, Jr. and Angela Bryant; mother and stepfather, Teresa and Chris Eaton; sister, Alyvia Eaton; stepbrother, Steven Davis; stepsister, Teara Landingham; grandparents, Harold Hall, Marilyn Eaton, Linda and Donnie Moore, George and Joan Lambert, and Clara Dracos; and a host of other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 2 p.m., also in the chapel. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Pastor Carey Harrell will officiate.
