Kevin Lee Robertson

Kevin Lee Robertson, 55, of New Castle, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Born to the late Robert L. Robertson and Patricia L. Robertson in Roanoke, Va. on Friday, September 13, 1968. Kevin had a captivating charm that lit up any room he entered, making him the center of attention. He had the unique ability to effortlessly strike up a conversation with strangers and make them feel like old friends. It's no surprise that he took on the role of a father figure to many, given his warm and friendly demeanor. Kevin always made time to go hunting and fishing. He would often return with interesting stories about his adventures in the woods or by the water. However, it's possible that he wasn't very successful at times in his hunting trips and ended up napping in the woods instead. Left to cherish and remember Kevin include his wife, Sherrie Robertson; daughter, Kelsie Robertson; mother-in-law, Barbara Stevenson; and friends who are more like family Scott Merritt and Debbie Crockett; close family friends Matt and Peggy Jewell. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 12 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home located in Salem, Va.
