Kevin Scott Manning, 43, of Salem, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 8, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Jones Manning; uncle, Roger G. Manning; grandparents, Glenna C. and Herbert W. Manning, and Edwin M. and Ethel H. Jones; mother-in-law, Virginia Hancock; and his brother-in-law, Wayne Hancock. Family remaining to cherish his memory includes his wife, Sandra Hancock Manning; daughter, Amber Hancock Manning; father, Donald Manning and wife, Cindy; sister, Candice A. Manning; step-brother, Joseph S. Berenbaum and wife, Dana; niece and nephew, Tate and Taylor Berenbaum; aunt, Carol Jean Jones Nunnally and husband, Bill; cousins, Tammy Manning, Angela Manning Mitchem and husband, Bo, Will Nunnally and wife, Shannon, and Kristen Nunnally; father-in-law, Benjamin Hancock; sister-in-law, Darlene Hancock; brother-in-law, Glenn Hancock and fianc, Barbara Griffith; niece, Amy Hancock; and numerous other family members and special friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 6 until 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home in Salem. Funeral services to honor Kevin will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 2 p.m., in the funeral home chapel, with Elder Rick Cooper officiating.
