Kathi Jean Baker-Gonzales

Kathi Jean Baker Gonzalez left us to go to Elysian Fields on March 13, 2019. She was born May 21, 1958, in Roanoke, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her father, James Warren Baker; her mother, Eleanor Wilma Jean Vandergrift; sister, Melanie Elaine Coley; and her brother, Gary Clayton Baker. She is survived by her three daughters, Jeannie Vandergrift Guthrie, Melanie Elaine Pierce-Villarreal, Laura Victoria Pierce, and her fourth daughter Briana Steenbuck LaPrade along with her sister, Vicki Diane Miller, brother, Douglas Warren Baker, her grandchildren Ciara, Tyler, Caleb, Isabella, Kimber, Sawyer, Jack, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She lived life to the fullest with a passion for New Orleans, her pit bulls, and music. She was a great Mawmaw and her grandchildren brought her so much joy. We will have a celebration of life for her in the spring. She will be forever missed. Service Details.
