June Ludwick Moore

June Ludwick Moore, 90, of Roanoke, passed into eternal life on Thursday, November 22, 2012. Her devotion was to her family. She was a College Lutheran Church Altar Chairperson for a number of years, participated in the Roanoke County Womans Club as well as the Girl Scouts, held office in the Virginia Cooperative Services, was a charter member of the Norwood Service Club, and was a registrar for South Salem. Professionally, she enjoyed a banking career with the Bank of Salem and the Bank of Virginia for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Jack and Rowena Kaylor Ludwick; and a sister, Jean Ludwick Farris. She is survived by a number of family members and numerous friends. A period of visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. at College Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
