Julia Gail Kelley

Julia Gail (Brown) Kelley, 61 of Salem passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012. She was born in Salem, Va. on November 9, 1950 to the late Harry Lee, and Allie Adeline Beckner Brown. She enjoyed sewing and crafts at home, but she will be remembered mostly for being a loving mother and wife. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Lee Brown, Jr. and Jerry Wayne Brown; sisters, Louise Brown Spraker, and Betty Jo Brown Harrison. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ronald Lee Kelley; daughter, Tammy Gay Beckner; special friend, Lynn Shively; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. A Memorial service and gathering of friends will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Kelley residence; 218 Elm Street, Salem, Va., at 4 p.m. Pastor Gary Butcher will officiate.
