Judith Simpson Lienhardt, 73, of Salem, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was born on Friday, August 29, 1952, in Clifton Forge, Virginia, to the late Clyde James and Sabra Musgrove Simpson, Jr.
She was a member of the General James Breckinridge Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a lifetime member of the Cameo Club of DAR and Southern Cross Chapter 746, where she held several officer positions in both chapters.
Judith is survived by her husband, Jack O. “Jay” Lienhardt, Jr.; daughter, Jennifer Lienhardt Robinson and her husband, Dustin, from Minnehaha Springs, West Virginia; a son, Robert M. Lienhardt, and his wife, Amanda, of Cynthiana, Kentucky; two sisters, Patricia S. Shires and her husband, O.E. “Bud” Shires of Eagle Rock, Virginia, Katherine “Kitty” S. Gilliland and her husband, Bruce of El Paso, Texas; brother, Clyde J. and Becky Simpson, Jr. of Low Moor, Virginia; four grandchildren, Carly Robinson, Zachariah Paul, Charlotte Elizabeht and Mary Virginia Lienhardt; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
