Judith A. (Collier) Cooksey, 60 of Elliston, VA, with much love for God and the people in her life, peacefully departed her earthly existence on March 29, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born August 7, 1951 in Narrows VA, to the late Elmer Ray and Janetta Warner Collier in Narrows, VA. After graduating form nursing school at Charlottesville, VA she pursued her nursing career serving others with love, compassion, and a remarkable warm and friendly smile. She also was a very feeling person who gave comfort which touched the hearts of many she served. She was survived by her companion and husband of 29 years, Heston Cooksey Jr.; her son, Mathew Kleene of Roanoke VA; two brothers, Ray Collier of Bristol VA, and Kevin D. Collier of Riner VA, and four nephews, Austin, Kyle, Stephen, and Andrew Collier. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 4 until 6 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & son Funeral Home located at 305 Roanoke Blvd. Salem VA 24153. Funeral services will be at same location on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. Special thanks to Doctors Brian S.
