Juan Demiranda

Juan Demiranda, 96, of Salem and formerly of Camaguey, Cuba, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016. He was a political refugee from Cuba. Preceding him in death was his wife, Angela Elisa Font. His surviving family includes his daughter, Georgina Demiranda and husband, Ed Cook; grandchildren, Yamilet Lopez and Mary Belle Lopez; and great-grandchildren, Brian Parrado and Daver Olivera. The family expresses a sincere thanks to Carilion Hospice for their loving care. A graveside service will be conducted at Noon on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at East Hill Cemetery in Salem.
