Joseph Anthony Wallace Jr., aged 61, passed away on May 3, 2025, in Salem, Virginia after a three year battle with gastric cancer. He was born on March 11, 1964, in Washington, D.C.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Joseph lived a life grounded in faith, selflessness, and love. He is survived by his beloved wife, Laura Wallace, and their children: Haleigh, William, Joseph, Natalie, Audrey, Oliver, Luke, Maria, Bridget, Leo, and Bella Wallace. He also leaves behind his cherished granddaughter, Felicity Wallace; his parents, Joseph Wallace Sr. and Candita Wallace; and his brother, Kevin Wallace.

Joseph's family was the center of his world. He gave everything he had; his time, his energy, and his heart to them. He poured himself into fatherhood and his marriage with steady devotion. His love extended beyond the home, ready to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was the President and CEO of James River Laser & Equipment, a business he led with unwavering dedication and integrity. A gifted problem-solver and natural leader, Joseph took pride in doing the job and doing it right. His hands were always busy building, fixing, and improving.

His Catholic faith was the foundation of his life. He looked to God for guidance and strength through every chapter of his journey. Joseph found profound peace and joy in the beauty of nature, which he lovingly referred to as "God's glory." He found fulfillment in quiet hours spent outdoors, working in his garage, and sharing time with those he loved most.

Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adela and Juan Rodriguez and Mary Margaret and Floyd Jasper Wallace, as well as his brothers, Robert and Patrick Wallace.
