Joseph Louis Clark

Joseph Louis Clark, 29, passed away suddenly as a result of a underlying birth defect, on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Born in Roanoke, Virginia, on August 31, 1993, to Jackie Celeste Clark and the late James Thomas Clark III, he is also preceded in death by his grandfather, Jackie L. Keaton. Joey was a graduate of Eastern Montgomery High School, Class of 2012. He loved life and animals. Our hearts are broken, and he will be leaving a huge hole in our hearts and lives that only he could fill. Those left to cherish his memory are his fiance and the love of his life, Sarah Lee Dooley; mother, Jackie C. Clark; brothers, Jonathan Thomas Clark and Jacob Lee Clark; grandmother, Betty L. Keaton, as well as three nieces and a nephew. The family will welcome friends on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
