Jonathon Eric Barrett

Jonathon E. Barrett age 50, of Thaxton, Va. was called upon by God to enter into his eternal home on Friday, February 22, 2019, in Roanoke, Va. He was born to the late Estie Herbert "John" Barrett and Mary Lou Lucas Barrett on Sunday, December 8, 1968. Jonathon worked at Salem Brickyard during his lifetime; he loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was part of the Virginia Militia and remained active as long as his health permitted. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harry Herbert Barrett and Bertha Elizabeth Barrett; maternal grandparents, Ezra Lee Gower and Lovie Belle "Toots" Pritt; and one sister, Tresa Louise Eubanks. Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Yvette Dawn Holt, and Stephanie Ann Plaugher; one brother, Jason Travis Barrett; nieces, Victoria Sky Barrett, and Ashley Nickole Plaugher.
