John Scott Roberts

John Scott Roberts, 66, of Salem, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017. John was a United States Navy veteran, and retired as a maintenance supervisor with Virginia Tech. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard L. Roberts, Sr. and Vivian Johnson Roberts, and his sister, Elizabeth Claire Roberts. Survivors include his brothers, Howard L. Roberts, Jr. and wife Teresa, James McDuffy Roberts and wife Sharon, and Dennis Noble Roberts and wife Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews, and his special furry friends, Trixie and Annie. Johns wishes were to be cremated with no services. The family intends to honor these wishes and provide him with one last trip to the beach.
