Joanne Carol Taylor

Joanne Hibbitts Taylor, 78, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. She loved animals, and thoroughly enjoyed working puzzles and puzzle books. She was loved by many, and will be truly and sadly missed. Preceding her in death were her parents, Raymond Leeon and Lucy Elizabeth Hibbitts; husband, Fred Clinton Taylor; and dog, Cally. Her surviving family includes her children, Ronnie Taylor and wife, Linda, Annette Taylor, Cindy Hinson and husband, Ray, Angela Waltz and husband, Allen, and Scott Taylor and wife, Crissy; siblings, Jenny Atkins, Ramona Lawrence, and Leeon Hibbitts; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and special pets, Mia, Buttercup, and Ladybug. The entire family is very grateful for Annette and all she has done in taking care of Joanne. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem with Rev. Loraine Taylor officiating. A period of visitation will take place one hour prior.
