Joann Bryant Clark

Joann Bryant Clark, 81, of Richmond, and originally of Roanoke, passed away October 13, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband George R. Clark, daughters Kim Marie Clark and Cathy Clark Steiger. She is survived by sons George R. Clark II and Steven L. Clark, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Joann graduated from Roanoke Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, and worked as a registered nurse. She was a very devoted, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, October 16, 2014 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. A graveside service will be held at 11AM, Friday, October 17, 2014 at Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.
