Jessica Renee Dehart

Jessica Renee DeHart, 32, of Roanoke, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013. She was born on June 19, 1981 to Robin DeHart Levesy and the late David Leon Cook. She will be remembered as a very kind and loving person; one who loved children and had a passionate desire to help and care for others. Her earnest desire was to one day become a counselor to help those in need. Most of all she will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, and friend to all who knew her. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tommy DeHart, and her brother, Cody Roop. Family remaining to cherish her memory includes her mother, Robin Levesy and husband Alfred; brother, Mitchell Roop; sisters, Stephanie Dunahoo and husband, Mac, and Amelia Wilson and husband, Ron; grandparents, Leonard and Phyllis Wagoner, Ben and Margaret Cook, and James and Carolyn Craig; great-grandmother, Christine Parr, and her loving and faithful cats, Cali and Oliver. A memorial service to honor Jessicas life will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 1 pm, at Seneca Baptist Church in Elliston, VA with Pastor John S. Collins officiating.
