Jean Brummett Wallace

Jeannea Wallace of Salem, Virginia, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Jeannea was a loving wife of 61 years, a sister, an aunt, great-aunt, and friend to so many who share a lifetime of wonderful memories. She always went the extra mile for her family cause family was so important to her.

Jeannea is from a family of 10 and was the youngest sibling. Jeannea is survived by her husband, Edward "Eddie" Wallace; sister, Shirley Thomas; sisters-in-law, Lee McClain, Addie Hewitt; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family.

Jeannea lived a full, rich life with her soulmate Eddie, traveling numerous times across the US, Hawaii, and Florida. She loved her beach life for the years they spent at their place on the coast. Jeannea attended First United Methodist Church in Salem, Virginia.
