Jean Jones Rossi

Jean J. Rossi, 81, of Salem, Virginia, went to be with the angels on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at home after a decade long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hal Kenneth Jones and Emma Lucille Scarborough Jones; and brother, Gerald (Jerry) William Jones. Her surviving family includes her loving and caring husband of 64 years, Jimmy Harry Rossi; children, Dereck Kevin Rossi, Leslie Danielle Rossi, James Shawn Rossi, and Christopher Gareth Rossi; siblings, Myra June Munday, Sandra Lucille Peterson, Hal Kenneth Jones, Jr., and Linda Gail Weir; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Watson. The family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, Va. A private family graveside service will be officiated by Rev.
