Jean Scott Lansing

Jean Scott Martin Lansing, 92, of Salem, VA passed away, Sunday, September 11, 2022. Born to the late Walter O. Scott and Norma J. Overstreet Scott. In addition to her parents, Jean is predeceased by her first husband of 40 years, Terry A. Martin, and 2nd husband of 20 years, Gerritt K. Lansing; brothers, Clarence Scott, and Richard Scott; sisters, Marjorie Scott Bryant, Hazel Scott, Virginia Scott Conner, and Janet Scott Beck. Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Teresa Martin Shull, and her husband Sean L. Shull; as well as several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Judith from Visiting Angels for going above and beyond in giving Jean the special attention and friendship, she deserved. Also, to the nurses and staff at The Park at Oak Grove for the care given and for making Jeans last days more enjoyable. Finally, a special thank you for the outstanding care and comfort given by the doctors and nurses of the 2nd floor ICU at Lewis Gale. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, with Fr. James Hubbard officiating.
