Jasper Lee Baker, Jr., 93, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017.
He was a US Army Veteran having served in WWII, and was retired from the United States Postal Service.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Dorothy Martin Baker; and sister, Atlas Baker Holland.
His surviving family includes his daughter, Jane L. Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
A period of visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017, at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem.
